Chef Michael Phan, Bartender Isaac Shumway and Casa Noble Organic Tequila are teaming up to create a three-course modern Chinese feast with a cacophony of spicy, sour, bitter, sweet and umami flavors for this special dinner. Showing off the variety of dishes that pair well with tequila, Chef Phan will prepare dishes including Braised Pork Belly in a Clam Shell Bun with pan roasted gulf shrimp, sweet and spicy mustard sauce, crispy tofu with soybeans and fermented tofu sauce, and Shumai Dumplings with pork and shrimp, salt and pepper local squid, spicy wontons; and an heirloom tomato salad dressed with an aged Chinese vinegar and salted duck egg. Your hair of the dog options include delicious cocktails for each course, including the Niños Heros, a mix of Casa Noble Anejo, lime, yellow chartreuse, angostura and orange bitters. Heaven, indeed.
